I’ve been dog crazy my whole life, I knew I wanted to work with animals in some way as soon as I was able to express it. This led me to school and a career as a licensed veterinary technician working in research, animal emergency hospitals and local veterinary clinics. I love taking care of other people’s pets but needed to find a way to spend more time with my dogs, too!

Henry Loves Betty was founded in 2014 in honor of my two small dogs, Henry, a brussels griffon and Betty, a toy poodle. From a small boutique in Troy we quickly grew into the #1 dog walking, daycare and pet sitting company you know today here in the Capital District.

When I’m not caring for your pets I love spending time with my own while hiking or learning more about training and behavior. Although we lost Betty in 2019, I adopted Walter, a hairless chihuahua shortly after opening in 2014 and have recently adopted Grace, an australian cattle dog. Henry and co (along with our llama, goats and many chickens, ducks, geese and guinea hens) live with myself and my partner on our little homestead on 101 acres in Johnstown, NY at the base of the Adirondack mountains.
